Today was a great day!
The high here in North Carolina was 68 degrees and we took advantage of that. Danny took Xander around 8:30 so I could get a little more sleep!
After I got my hair curled, I tried, unsuccessfully, for the 3rd time to get Xander down for a nap, then grabbed him church clothes, handed him to Danny and did the fastest Facebook live of my life!
I did a super quick and simple look, which you can take a look at here: https://www.facebook.com/allie.clements/videos/10215804801027338/

After the rushed live, Xander and I got out booties in the car and made it just in time for a great church service that was centered around self awareness, which was very interesting.
After church we came home and had lunch! Danny has leftover spaghetti, while Xander and I had scrambled eggs and avocado. It was actually delicious, even without the last English muffin that I burnt by accident… Ha!
After our little lunch, it was almost 4pm and just beautiful and sunny outside, so Xander and I hit the streets to find a playground with some swings.
We found a couple parks that are more suitable for bigger kids and kept wandering til we found a park at one of the child development centers. Here are some pictures from the swings and the other toys and just of us being adorable, duh!
After hanging out a while, we wandered back through the trails and neighborhoods to our base and I gave Xander his FIRST HAIRCUT! Can you believe it?! He is getting so big!! I made a little time lapse video of it and took some low quality before/after pictures.
He is just getting so big and is really starting to look like a little boy, not my baby boy. He is such a blessing and can light up any room. It is really such an adventure seeing small humans explore the world around them and experience things for the first time!
I hope you all had an amazing Sunday and enjoyed reading this little post!
Goodnight, everyone.
